As many of you know, I've been a part of the Summer Search community since August 2017. I am so proud of the work we do to help young people realize their potential through professional mentoring and transformative experiences. Through our program, young people are building skills that help them graduate from high school and persist through college. 

This work is also personal to me - as a first-generation college student, I understand how it feels to land on a campus and not have any idea where to begin. To feel like everyone around you has read some sort of handbook and you're wondering where's your copy. Through Summer Search, I have been able to serve as that handbook for our students - opening doors, clearing pathways and building bridges to their success. These are incredibly talented and resilient young folks and I feel honored to support their journey.

Like most organizations, COVID-19 has had a challenging impact on Summer Search. We are working harder than ever to support more than 2,000 students and alumni in the Boston area and created a fund to fulfill emergency needs.
