Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.

Story

I am 'attempting' (with a guide) to climb the Matterhorn in Switzerland, weather permitting August 7th / 8th  2019.The mountain is the most instantly recognisable in Europe and stands at 4,478m. I am NO climber, having only been on ropes a few times in my life, so apprehensive is a slight understatement! The summit ridge looks like a knife edge with very long drops either side, but I have to have a go for a good cause. Our daughter Milla was diagnosed when she was 18 months old, with a rare form of Epilepsy. Thankfully her form can be controlled quite well with medication, but there are many other children who have much more severe and debilitating forms. I would like to try and raise as much money as possible to support  https://www.youngepilepsy.org.uk, an organisation that supports and drives to provide better lives for young people that suffer from Epilepsy.

Please give what you can and I will do the same by trying my best to reach the summit.

Greatly appreciated by me and all those at https://www.youngepilepsy.org.uk
