In September 2018, I am undertaking 2 tough challenges to support Restart Rugby, the official charity of the Rugby Players Association (RPA).

First up is the Alpine Trek, in association with RISE and I am joining a group of 20+ like minded masochists including former England and Lions star, Charlie Hodgson as well as the miraculous Ed Jackson who has recovered from a life changing spinal injury and we will be trek to the summit of 3 peaks in 3 countries in 3 days, staying in alpine refuges along the way. If the last two Alpine Trek's are anything to go by, then this will be an incredible experience.

10 days after we return from the Alps, I am dusting off my bike and joining England and Lions star Ugo Monye, Charlie Hodgson (again) and heading to the Velo South where we will ride 100 miles in a day and probably not be able to walk or sit down for weeks. I haven't been on a bike for many years, so am wincing at the prospect.

The charity supports our members and their families who have suffered serious injury, illness or hardship and any support you can give to this trek is very gratefully received.
