Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I’ve decided that this year I’m growing a moustache. Pronounced MOOOOstache. Originally, I didn’t really give this any thought and just decided “yeah sweet, I’ll grow a ‘tache and it’ll be boss!”.
However, a bit more thought about this made me think a little differently. Like testicular cancer, hee hee I said testicles, it’s easy to ignore/miss/not do anything about. Basically, because, you know we’re blokes and the thought of someone else having a muck around with our junk isn’t that fun. Well it is, but it’s not when it’s medically related. Well. Not to me. I know some people get their rocks off to medical interventions. But not me. No way Pedro.
Diagnosis and treatments currently available are effective and can help prevent radical prostatectomy, not a particularly pleasant experience to think about. If you do want to think about it, you can have a read here.

My least favourite thought about this is TURP

ouch.
Anyway. The Prostate Cancer Charity, I very nearly got a job with them a couple of years ago so they employ academics who want to loaf around, http://www.prostate-cancer.org.uk/info/prostate.asp
They provide support and information to patients and health professionals and a little bit of help would be a good thing.
So......
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
I’m hoping to change the pics on this page (and my facebook) to update changes in the mo’ and look-a-likes..so far I’m thinking, Begbie and Freddie Mercury.
I don’t think I’ve ever done anything like this before. But rather than buy me a pint when you see me in movember, throw some money at this.
peace and love.
