Story

AN ENORMOUS THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SPONSORED US WE HAVE EXCEEDED OUR TARGET SUM AND RAISED OVER £1000 FOR OUR CHOOSEN CHARITIES.
As Knowsley's Executive Director of Children's Services, I have adopted Knowsley Domestic Violence Support Service's 'First Steps' and Butterfly Programme as one of the charities I have raised sponsorship for during the past couple of years. In 2005 as part of the Knowsley 3 Peaks Challenge, we raised over £2000 in support of the charity Last year I raised an additional £870 from my first ever run in Leeds.

This year the four of us are attempting to try and better that feat with your support. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Knowsley Domestic Violence Support Service will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Any offline donations will be split between two other charities associated with Knowsley that we support: The Anthony Walker Foundation and the Angel-Starfish Educare Centre in South Africa.

So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
