This September, I will be riding from London to Paris for the third time, after completing the ride in 2015 and 2016. Taking part in this event has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.

My father John (pictured above) passed away in December 2015 after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. Whilst his death has been hard to accept, I remind myself every day that I was fortunate enough to have had time  with him before his death: time that was gifted to me by medical programs which would not have been possible but for the work of organisations like Bloodwise. 

I can not express my gratitude for this and wish, in some small way, to pay a little bit of that back, so that in the future someone else gets the same gift that I did.
