Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 11th July 2012, I ran with the Olympic Torch through Ludgershall in Wiltshire. I was nominated by Kay Wright, after I'd helped raise £10K for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research in memory of her son, Wayne Wilson.
Wayne sadly died from Leukaemia in January 2011. But his brother, myself and some friends setup Team Wayne in his memory. We've attempted the 3 peaks challenge, entered the Great South Run and hosted a number of charity discos, auctions and raffles to generate awareness and funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
My local newsagents, Baileys News in Cricklade, setup a lovely tribute in their window display. I posed for photos with the Olympic Torch and people very generously donated to our cause, raising over £750 in the process!
