2022 Joe Durant 100 Holes of Golf Marathon · 17 October 2022 ·

The 100 Hole Golf Marathon hosted by PGA Tour Champion Professional Joe Durant is one of our Chapter's largest fundraisers. First Tee Gulf Coast uses golf to teach character and leadership skills to all interested youth ages 5-18.

Story

The Mission of First Tee Gulf Coast is to positively impact the lives of young people by promoting character development and life-enhancing values through the First Tee's "Life Skills Learning Experience" and the game of golf. The First Tee program is based on The Nine Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy and Judgment. The First Tee's mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf. All Funding for First Tee Gulf Coast is generated through local fundraising and spent locally - no direct support comes from (or goes to) First Tee Headquarters in St. Augustine. Since the founding of our local chapter December 30, 2003, we have grown to serve Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton (Florida) and Baldwin County (Alabama) through 12 current programs sites.
