The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have once again decided to take on Ultra Challenge's Isle of Wight Challenge in 2018, only this time I shall be walking around the whole of the largest island in England. This will be 106km (66 miles) in one go, it will take approximately 30 hours (hopefully) to complete.

Whilst the IOW Challenge is the ultimate test at the end of the path, I also have Tough Mudder Midlands & North West planned, along with Total Warrior Leeds, Mudificent 7, Men's Health Survival of the Fittest & the Winter Wolf Run, as well as putting in the walking mileage to ensure that I am able to cope with the stresses & strains of walking such a long distance.

Why am I doing this again I hear you ask ???

I am again doing this for a worthwhile charity & have decided to choose another charity that is close to home.......The National Autistic Society. Currently around 700,000 people in the UK are on the autism spectrum, together with their families, this means autism is a part of daily life for 2.8 million people.

My wonderful nephew Eoin, is one of these people & if I can raise as much as I can to help The National Autistic Society in any way I can then it's got to be worth the blood, sweat & tears.
