Story
It's probably fair to say I eat too much and definitely fair to say i drink a little bit too much, so the time has finally come to do something about it.
I recently got a bike and suddenly realised that with lockdown the streets of London are sadly deserted so perfect for a novice like me to explore. Nothing beats the feeling of cycling around the greatest city on Earth, so I thought i could do myself some good and at the same time raise some money for a charity very close to my heart.
I am aiming to ride 400Km's by the end of January, in all weathers pounding out at least 100km's a week! considering i've never done anything like this before and look like i've eaten the butchers dog, rather than being fit as...well, its going to be a challenge.
Hughes Syndrome, or as it is sometimes called "Sticky Blood Syndrome" is a major cause of miscarriage, migraine and stroke, three awful conditions that can strike all ages. Hughes Syndrome is still woefully under diagnosed by GP's. Below is a great description of the condition:
