Visiting every fire station in Hertfordshire · 9 June 2019

The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong health & wellbeing support for the UK fire & rescue community, empowering individuals and families to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. This includes serving and retired firefighters, control and support teams.

Story

On Sunday 9th June 2019, Myself, Marc Diplock, Green Watch St Albans and friends will be taking on the 'Ride Around Herts' 180 mile cycle challenge.

Setting off at 5am from St Albans fire station we will be making our way around the County, trying to raise as much money as possible for the Firefighters Charity.

The charity does a wonderful job caring for firefighters whether it's for mental heath issues from some of the things we've witnessed or physio and rehabilitation for injuries. This is a great and much needed service that helps firefighters get back to work supporting their communities.
