Hello,

Unfortunately my dad suffered a mild stroke before Christmas and then had another major stroke on the 8th of Jan the morning he and my mom were moving house to downsize and start a new chapter in life together.

My dad was taken away in a ambulance to Russell's hall hospital and given a injection to help break up the blood clots that didn't work. He was then taken in a emergency ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth hospital where he had a Thrombectomy procedure that removed the main clot from his brain. After a week he was taken back to Russell's hall hospital where he took a turn for the worse and was fighting for his life. He has had to over come many things thrown at him so far but he's fighting back slowly.

I've seen what the staff do for my dad first hand and would like to give something back by raising this money along with 2 of my best friends Hodge & Tanner by taking on the toughest challenge we have done yet and we've done a few.

My dad has the biggest challenge out of us all around him at the moment so I'm going to do this to help him push on more by giving him some inspiration. Also he's asked me to raise the money for this charity so it means a lot to us all.

The 3 of us will be taking on the SAS fan dance challenge which is up & down the Pen Y Fan mountain twice which is 16 miles with 35lbs + food & water on our backs in under 4 hours 15 mins on June 27th in hot weather.
