Story
I am walking around the Burgess Hill Green Circle during September. I aim to walk the same distance as the length of the South Downs Way - 162.5km. I''ll be taking photographs of hedges in late summer and early autumn when they start to supply berries to birds to eat as well as continuing to store carbon and absorb water. Hedges can be wildlife havens. CPRE Sussex have a small dedicated staff and a team of unpaid volunteers and about 2,000 members and supporters.
