Help Dan to raise money for the British heart foundation

Inca Trail to Machu Picchu Trek with Charity Challenge Oct 2018 · 4 October 2018 ·
Hello my name is Dan,
I have decided to participate in a fitness trek to help a great charity ‘’ the British heart foundation’’ in October 2018.
I have noticed that there is an increase in heart and other health related issues among the population, so I am wanting to help those that have health conditions but also the future or our children. I know that it is very important that we look after our bodies to ensure we have a healthy working hearts and functional body.
I know that I have the heart and passion to make it to the top and even attempt some burpees when I reach the summit. I’m wanting to help
others that have heart and other health related conditions by raising as much as I can for this great charity, so I am going to trek the Inca trail in Peru 60k and up to 4200m above sea level, plus 3 day trek in the amazon.
I will train hard, push myself and do whatever it takes to
raise the money to help others. I will also use my health and fitness knowledge to train & help people so I can raise money for the charity.
I’m going to make it to the top and I plan to do a plank, press-ups and even some burpees at the top … well that’s the goal.
I have always had a great passion for health, fitness & well-being. I had climbed Mt Snowdon in February 2017 which was my first trek/climb that I enjoyed and caught the trekking bug.
Since I was a kid in school I have always been interested in fitness and sport, not realising I would pursue a career as an advanced health and fitness coach.
I left school to become a builder to only find that it was just not for me , ‘’I felt like something was missing ‘’ so I decided to follow my heart and go for what I felt was right'' so I set off to become a personal trainer.
I have now been working in the health & fitness industry for over 8 years and have help a variety of clients along the way. I love a challenge and always try my best to help promote a healthy lifestyle to everyone I meet.
I had come to point where I have helped many clients and was thinking of ways on how I could help the UK/ the world for those that have heart and other health problems, so I went in search of fitness challenges for charities, that is where I came across the British heart foundation and found that I could do a fitness related trek to help there charity.
So please find it in your HEART to help & support a great charity cause.
