Please support our amazing runners at The London Landmarks Half Marathon 2019 and together we will find a cure for Mitochondrial Disease

Story

The Lily Foundation was founded in memory of Lily, who lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.

Did you know every 20 minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16? There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting.

I am running in memory of both Niamh Maguire, daughter of my friends' Alison and Niall, who lost her brave battle at four years' old, and my friend Naomi's niece, Maisie Totten, who was younger than three months when she passed away.

Please stand with us and fight Mitochondrial Disease and fight for hope.
