Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! I am attempting to climb Kilimanjaro in early August, 2015. I saw Kilimanjaro while on safari in Tanzania in 2013, and felt an unexplained urge to climb it. My journey through Kenya and Tanzania in 2013 was a magical experience, and one that empowered me to dream bigger.

I am raising money for HAEUK because I have been incredibly lucky to find extraordinary medical treatment in the UK for my autoimmune disease. I was lucky to be diagnosed swiftly and accurately in 2003, but others are not as lucky. My journey with HAE has forced me to grow in so many ways over the years. About 1 year after moving to the UK, I was introduced to medical treatment that has revolutionized how I live my life. I am so grateful for the life I have, the peace of mind I get and the fabulous experiences I can now partake in, and I would like to give something back.

I would feel honored if you would support me in my Kilimanjaro climb. I am attempting a trek that is tough for a healthy person, and the altitude is expected to negatively impact my HAE. Even if I do not make it to the top, at least the HAE community will benefit from your support!!
