Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses and their families at the Hospice in Northampton and across Northamptonshire through our Hospice@Home Community Care Team; helping patients to enjoy the best quality of life possible

Story

Cynthia Spencer offers an irreplaceable service within Northamptonshire providing specialist palliative care to adults with life limiting illnesses. Supporting them to live their lives, with dignity, kindness and compassion, and I’ve been wondering how to help them out ever since they cared so well for someone I knew. Then, one of my patients (you know who you are!), put my name forwards.
As a lot of you can guess, this is a far cry from fixing teeth at East Park Dental, but not being one to shy away form a challenge, I happily accepted! Initially, practicing at home has mostly involved tripping over Seniõr Floof. More recently though, I’ve been partnered with Natalie, who I think is currently wearing steal toe capped boots during practice. She’s also helping me “fill the gaps” in my dancing skills, and together we hope to be “crowned” the stars of strictly Northampton! (apologies for the dental bants!)
Please dig deep and support Cynthia Spencer, they’re worth their weight in gold.
