It would really mean a lot to us if the celebration of our wedding day could also motivate  at least a small donation to the charity instead of coming to us in the form of a material gift. As lovely as gifts are, knowing that an old poorly dog which may otherwise have to be put down can enjoy another year or two of life means a hell of a lot more to us.  

We have decided on this charity as it focuses on older dogs who have many health problems and are unlikely to find another forever home. We know all too well how hard it can be, and how financially draining it can be to look after an older dog. They become vulnerable and lonely and we want to make sure that these dogs are cared for.
