In June 2021 our best friends Rich and Jen had to call 999 after they found their baby son Struan wasn’t breathing. A helicopter was dispatched to them with a consultant from Bravo Medics on board. He was able to provide highly specialised hospital level intensive care in their house within 25 minutes of calling 999.

Like all the doctors at Bravo Medics, the one who went to their house works full time for the NHS. They also volunteer for free in their spare time to be on call with Bravo Medics to come and help families like them when they should be asleep at home with their own families.

Bravo Medics is entirely funded by charitable donations.

Those who know me will know I am definitely NOT a runner - I can smash out the occasional 5k but have never really ran any further than that for 20 years! BUT, when Jen was looking for participants to raise money for Bravo Medics in memory of her beautiful boy Struan there was no doubt about taking part. Please donate as much or as little as you can.
