I'll be doing a 15k memory walk in Cardiff this October to raise money for the cruel illness that is dementia. 

Over the last few years I've watched my nan slowly fade away into an empty shell of her former self. Unable to walk, talk or do anything for herself and not even recognising me or the rest of my family. It's to late for her, it's stripped her of her dignity and robbed her of a happy retirement. She will lose her battle with this hideous disease, just like so many before her. But hopefully this money raised will help prevent our children or grandchildren ever having to watch us slowly suffer and fade away. It doesn't matter if its 10p or 10 pound. Every little helps.
