Story
On 25th July I will be jumping out of a plane at 10,000ft feet, hurtling towards the ground at 120mph hoping against hope that my parachute works!
Why am I doing this? Because it's time for a challenge, because my colleagues bullied me into it and because in doing so I am hoping to raise lots of money for Children’s Cancer Recovery Project, a charity who focus on improving the mental, social and emotional well-being of children suffering from cancer and their families, while helping to minimize the devastation that cancer can cause.
If everyone who reads this can donate I will reach my target of £3,000, it is an ambitious target but this amount of money would make s huge difference to the charity. £3k would enable Children’s Cancer Recovery Project to send their special Bear-Able Gift bags to over 200 children in hospitals and hospices in the UK, keeping them positive throughout their treatment and making them smile! Not only that but man will match what I raise up to £1,000 so your donation will go even further.
I didn't realise I was scared of heights but now this jump is becoming a reality I definitely am! I’m really excited too and hitting my target would make this experience even more worthwhile so please give generously to this fantastic cause.
