OK. Basically, i've somehow got myself into this situation where i have to run this marathon in Italy, i'm not sure whether its possible as we all know i'm not exactly the fittest sudent preferring to spend my time in pubs and takeaways rather than out running... but tickets are bought and flights booked so theres no turning back! Its in Florence, Italy on the 29th of november, which gives me 2 months to get ready.

 I figure someone should probably benefit from my suffering, so i've chosen self help africa to raise sponsorship money for. they basically help people living in rural areas to become more self reliant so that the poeple won't just become dependent on aid like they do with a lot of the other charities.

 

i'm trying to raise £20 for every mile ran hence the odd amount (the marathons 26miles 385yards).
