Story
Hey guys!
The last two years have been a bit of a nightmare health-wise since my diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis. Things went from bad to worse! I tried all sorts of drugs including Azathioprine, prednisone, Infliximab and Vedolizimab.
Unfortunately, no drugs helped and on the 14th June 2018 I underwent major surgery to remove my large Intestine (colon) and all other diseased bits.
Since having this surgery, it has been completely life changing. Giving me my life back so I can enjoy life again with my loving family.
To try to raise awareness and money towards the diseases of Crohns & Colitis. I have signed up to the following cycling and running events:
Carten100 cycle 100 miles from Cardiff to Tenby 27th April
Tour of Pembroke sportive cycle 57 miles 18th May
Swansea half marathon 23rd June
Wales Long course weekend sportive 112 miles 6th July
Cardiff half marathon 6th October
TeamEvsy 100 mile ride October 2019
I want to show that anything is possible even without a Colon.
Please help me raise much awareness and money to help find a cure for the horrible diseases or Crohns and Colitis
