I work for Carlisle Mencap and see on a daily basis the difference that the right support can make to people with learning disabilities.

So often our service users are excluded from all the wonderful opportunities that their non disabled peers have. We are determined to ensure that the lives are as rich and fulfilled as possible. Our staff team of dedicated support workers all go above and beyond to provide the best possible care. Sadly in the current economic climate, so many vulnerable people are losing services and support- at Carlisle Mencap, we are determined to continue to provide as much as possible, of the highest standard possible. As a charity we have to raise the bulk of our funds ourselves to keep us going, and its only with your help that this is possible. Please help me and my colleagues to continue to offer life changing support in our local community.
