I'M RUNNING THE MOUNT EVEREST MARATHON!!!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and for all your support! 😃
I am taking part in The World's Highest Marathon and the Ultra X World Championships for Little Haven’s Hospice because I'm pushing the bounds of what is truly possible and making a real difference throughout the world by making the impossible become possible.
One of the main reasons why I am taking part in one of the toughest sporting events in the world is to raise as much funding as possible and awareness for the amazing work all the staff and volunteers do every day at the Hospice.
When a child has been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition, Little Havens can provide the care they need, ‘Making every day count’. Their specialist Care Team can support them and their family throughout illness, death and bereavement, in the comfort of their own home or at our hospice. Little Haven’s focus on their quality of life, caring for individual physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs, ‘Making every day count. They must raise over £40,000 each week to be there for every baby, child and teenager who needs us.
I also want to inspire and show as many people as possible that we are all truly capable of more than we can imagine by making the impossible possible. What starts initially as a crazy thought and idea can quickly turn into something life changing.
I know we’re all currently going through challenging times with the global pandemic, but I just wanted to reach out and to take this time to give thanks to all the key-workers and to everyone playing their part to make the world a safer place.
I appreciate all your kind words, donations and for sharing my page throughout your social media pages. Every little moment truly does makes a big difference, so thank you once again.
Stay strong in mind and safe.
Much love,
Dan
