Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The reason I am fundraising for Sense is because they assessed my brother-in-law when he needed help and support so I would like to return the favour by raising money for a great charity in his honour.

My brother-in-law is David or more affectionately known as Dede, He was my girlfiends brother. On April 4th 2013 Dede passed away peacefuly in Glangwili hospital.

David was born with Cerebral Palsy and was deafblind as a result, Thats when his family contacted Sense who helped massively.

Sense have been helping people who are deafblind since 1955 and have helped thousands of people. I am hoping with the money I raise for Sense they can keep helping people just like Dede.
