As you probably know, I’m not much of a runner and I’ve never run anything like this!

As you may also know, my very good friend Andreas was the victim of an unprovoked acid attack and to add to the cruelty, was the victim of mistaken identity.

Since the attack, he has campaigned tirelessly for the laws to change and for tougher sentences to attackers, and has truly been an inspiration. 

Face Forward is a brilliant charity that has paid for Andreas to fly to LA for pioneering surgery, that will help him on his lifelong road to recovery. 

I hate running, but the pain I will go through is literally nothing compared to what my friend and others have been through.
