The HCF also cares for retired horses and helps to preserve the unique heritage of the British Army's most senior Regiments.

Story

THANK YOU all so much for your generous donations!

Finished in 3:58 !

It was a truly great experience that has kept me hobbling for the past week, but feeling exceptionally grateful for all of you :)

Very proud to have run for a wonderful cause.

A bit of info: The Household Cavalry Foundation is doing terrific things - some of you may know the story of Lance Corporal Corie Mapp, who lost both his legs in Afghanistan. With the help of the HCF and specifically funds raised by Dad for climbing Kilimanjaro, Mont Blanc and running the New York Marathon, Corie has become Great Britain’s top Paralympic bobsledder and we watched him win the World Cup last month in St Moritz (pics below) and will follow him to the Winter Paralympic Games in Beijing in 2022. He wants to bring back Gold for Britain! Corie is an inspiration to all war casualties and just one of many British soldiers who needs the support of the HCF. Thank you for helping these brave men and their courageous families.

Much love,

Danny
