Story
This year, I am running the Great North Run in memory of Andrew Ashworth for the Christie Charity.
Andrew was always someone I looked upto, more so over the past few years since he played a massive part in my new found obsession of road cycling..
As part of Andrews celebration & legacy I would like to fundraise to support the work of Mr Aziz at The Christie hospital. Mr Aziz was Andrew’s colorectal surgeon and Andrew always had the utmost respect for him as a surgeon and a great human being.
Since Andrews first diagnoses 5 years ago through to his final care, the Christie Hospital has played a very central part of Morag and Andrew's life. They both felt the benefit of the very personal support, treatment, care, guidance & friendship we received from every member of staff in every department.
