I've let being the boss go to my head literally! The current Covid-19 crisis is something that none of us could have foreseen and its impact on Rosemere's fundraising activities has been significant. We rely heavily on fundraising from events and community fundraising and this has been completely decimated for the foreseeable future.

As a charity we are committed to projects that will have a huge benefit for local patients during the year ahead and are rapidly adapting to the changing climate we find ourselves in. 

I've been humbled by the generosity and ingenuity of our supporters during this difficult time, with individuals running the height of Mount Everest on their stairs or riding from Lands End to John o Groats on static bikes in their front rooms.

I wanted to do something to show my support and really put me out of my comfort zone. Pre-lockdown I used to get my hair cut every 3-4 weeks and as I've never had my head fully shaved I thought this was the challenge for me. I know it's a style that won't suit me, but I'll try anything once.

I will get Sarah my wife to shave my head on Sunday 3rd May at 12noon, live on Rosemere's Facebook page as long as you've helped me to raise at least £500!
