I am taking on the epic challenge of rappelling down the 11 story Lister tower block in our Lister Abseil challenge this May!This challenge is in aid of the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity, please donate to help the charity to fund projects that enhance patient care at the Lister, New QEII and Hertford County hospitals & Mount Vernon Cancer Centre!

At some time or point in your life you, someone you love or know may have gone through a difficult time whether it be a medical issue or a sudden illness which has caused them to need the help of the NHS staff or doctors in some sort of way. With the government each year clamping down on NHS funding has passed the initiative on to teams of volunteers from all over the UK to raise money to help individuals that you may or may not know to get more hp with treatments, aftercare help or new equipment...... Some charity events can be fun but some very very challenging to raise money... The East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust Charitable Fund is trying to raise money to help hospital's within the local area to provide more aftercare, products to which some are listed below:

£15- Could fund one Butterfly service visit
£25 - Could fund a relaxation class, per person, in
which patients and their carers will learn techniques
to reduce anxiety.
£50- Could fund specialist knee rolls for patients
receiving a type of radiotherapy, which provide much
needed comfort.
£100 -Could fund dementia friendly arts and crafts
kits for our elderly inpatients.

These are just some examples of what the East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust Charitable Fund use your donations and sponsor monies for.....
