Cancer impacted my life when I lost my father a few years ago.  It wasn't the first time.  Throughout my life, I have sadly seen the impact of cancer on young families, friends and family.

I am not so naive as to think that we will cure cancer overnight but research done by the ICR will hopefully give some families more time.  

For me, this would mean the chance for my father to meet his granddaughter or watch his grandson play football.  And I think this is something that we can all relate to.
