2 years ago, I lost my Dad to suicide.

In his memory this Fathers Day, and for all those who've lost someone, I am committing to the July 2022 Samarathon, walking 26.2 miles to raise as much money as I can for this vitally important, life-saving charity.

Every seven seconds, Samaritans answer a call for help from someone who needs it. They're there, day or night, for anyone who's struggling to cope, and were there for me too.

Through this fundraiser I would like to raise £200. A large ask, but a very necessary one. £200 is all it takes for Samaritans to recruit and train a brand new volunteer. Another person at the end of the phone who can be there to support those in their times of need, as well as potentially saving a life.

Every contribution will make an impact, no matter how large or small. Whether it's the cost of a morning coffee, a Saturday night takeaway, or more.
