Hi,

I am running the Birmingham half marathon on the 21st October in memory of my Granny who died of lymphona cancer. 

I would love for her still to be alive right now as she supported me so much when I was ill, but never really saw me get better. Now I am fit and healthy again, I thought I should repay all her support by running a half marathon as fast as I can.

Thanks to medical advances, Granny managed to lead a relitively normal life for over 10 years after her original diagnosis. My hope is that in time, a cure will be found, but this cannot be done without funding.

My aim is to do it in 1hr 30mins, which won't be easy! But I will put every ounce of energy into it in memory of her.
