We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

On 28/06/2020 I sadly lost my Grandad after he battled with Alzheimer’s disease for over 15 years. It broke the heart of every single one of us to watch him slowly deteriorate and weaken daily from the once strong man he used to be. This disease was life changing for my Grandad and our family. No one should live through that pain and suffering. The Alzheimer’s Society is committed to finding a cure and with your support we can get closer to that.

On 22nd August 2020 me and a group of friends will be climbing Scafell Pike in memory of my Grandad, Michael Lewis. He had a strong passion for walking so it seemed apt to climb the highest peak in England.

It is our aim to raise as much money as possible in aid of funding towards a cure to this cruel and heartbreaking disease. All money raised will go towards the Alzheimer’s Society.

"Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice."

Thank you for your support and all donations are hugely appreciated.
