Hello All,

I am very proud to be running the Virgin London Marathon 2014 for the Kabanda Trust. 

The Kabanda Trust was established in 2006 to support and develop the education and healthcare of children attending Rock and Joy Children's Centre and Nansana Royal Primary School in Uganda. The Trust is named in memory of Vance Kabanda, the late headmaster of Nansana Royal Primary School. In 2008 they identified an additional school much in need of extra support.

Increasing they do this by funding projects which can ultimately be self sustaining and job creating. Current examples of this include a bus which now provides Rock of Joy with regular income and Poultry projects at both schools which provide income through egg & chicken sales, as well as improved nutrition, education and training for children, staff and parents.
