Walking Home for Christmas · 20 December 2013

We are the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We help people out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.

Story

Considering it's been quite a few months since I did something silly I've decided to 'walk home for Christmas' in aid of the homeless charity Crisis.

I'll be walking solo 150 miles from Norfolk to Kent, leaving on the Friday before Christmas and arriving on Christmas eve in time for celebrations with my family.

This is the equivalent of walking almost six marathons in five days. I'll be sleeping under the stars in a bivvy bag (and perhaps a basher if the weather gets really dreadful), and cooking my own food (I can't promise not hitting up McDonalds if I spot one though).

Although this micro-adventure is a personal challenge if you have a few quid to give to someone less fortunate than you this Christmas then that'd sure be swell.
