We focus on early diagnosis and awareness to improve survival of pancreatic cancer

Story

My Grandad, Raymond, is unfortunately suffering with Pancreatic cancer, and has been told he has around 3 - 4 months to live. On Monday 18 July 22, The amazing Four Lanes Choir came together to not only surprise and support Ray in this tough time, but to sing the songs that he too would have sang  during his time in the choir.

The event was a huge surprise to my Grandad and filled him with so much emotion. He rose out of his chair and gave a heart felt speech to everyone present:

"I know what it takes to give up a Monday night to choir practice, I thank you so very very much, I didn't think I would hear you live again, so I don't know how much longer I've got, it's between 3 and 4 months, I think they said, so, I can't believe its happened, just live your life to the full, don't worry about anything, don't let nothing worry you, and just go for it".

Pancreatic Cancer Action are a national charity dedicated to saving lives by improving early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and the quality of patient survival. with your help we fund vital research, create medical education programmes, produce national awareness campaigns and vital patient information.Together we can make a difference!
