Working for the Trust, I see the good work the Charity do on a daily basis. I have always supported the Charity and wanted to do my bit raising money on their behalf. Following the birth of my daughter and her short stay in hospital, this has motivated me more. So I have decided to take the leap and sign up to cycle over 300 miles from London to Paris for the Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity.

This is my time to give back from both a member of staff and as a parent, to help towards the charity's targets of raising money for a new Trust helipad and also to provide more improvements within the A&E department and other key areas within the Children's hospital.

Anyone that knows me, knows I am the sort of person who will try and dodge cardio training but this will push me out of my comfort zone with regular training. The cycle itself will push me to the extreme  as the 300 mile challenge is over 4 days.

Any donation, big or small, is amazing and will be going towards helping the children's hospital continue providing a quality service for all patients and parents.
