Campaign by The RAF Association (RAFA) (RCN 226686 (England & Wales) - SC037673 (Scotland))
RAF Waddington will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain along with 102 years of the RAF by achieving a team effort of 8160km (80 x 102) on a bike.

Story

RAF Waddington will be commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain along with 102 years of the RAF by achieving a team effort of 8160km (80 x 102) on a bike. Whilst the UK team will be out on the road, a mountain or even an exercise bike, we will be more restricted and limited to purely excersise bikes. We will log our progress manually, sign in cycle record your distance  and we will update with images and milestones as we go.  This team effort is a prime example of the RAF team ethos and support to one another. All proceeds will go towards the RAF Association Wings Appeal. 'RAFA Wings' is the fundraising arm of the Association and helps raise the vital funds needed to support serving and former serving RAF personnel and their families, whenever they are in need. Whether its an injured airman fighting to get back onto his feet, a young child missing their parent away on overseas operations or a WWII veteran needing a shoulder to lean on, RAFA are here to help.
