Together with our supporters, Barts Charity is there for patients and families in East London – through it all. We support pioneering research and the wellbeing of our brilliant NHS staff. We help to refurbish wards and provide Barts Health hospitals with the very best equipment.

Story

Hi and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

FIRSTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: I would like to thank Sarah and Anna Moseley, Tom Blundell, Oli Jelley, Jared Lloyd and Leonie Brabant for helping join my cause and taking on a fantastic challenge of their own.

The six of us will be running the Bath Half Marathon in the build up to the London Marathon. The guys have offered to help raise support for a special cause to me - Barts Charity.

13.1 Miles is a real slog so please show your support for them too!!

Earlier this summer I was lucky enough to get a place to run for Barts Charity in the 2018 London Marathon!

Barts Charity are committed to making extraordinary healthcare a reality for all by supporting the remarkable work in the hospitals of the Barts Health NHS Trust and its associated medical school.

As some may be aware I work as a paediatric physiotherapist at the Royal London Hospital so an opportunity to raise funds to put towards our services and department is very important to me!

I have discussed with Barts Charity and am keen to put the money towards vital therapies equipment that will help us to continue offering an excellent service. By raising this money we can ensure that children who require our services will have access to the equipment they need to give them the best possible outcomes.

Whilst this charity supports us in doing excellent work it’s equally important to note that FIFTY PERCENT of the paediatric population in Tower Hamlets are living in poverty. Please help make a difference!!

Follow my journey and enjoy laughing at my horrible training runs, painful fundraising tasks and pleas for support.

If you can donate to this great cause, no matter the amount, please do below.

Thanks

Dan
