My name is Danielle, I am 35 years old. In January 2022 I was diagnosed with breast cancer... Never expected it at 34 years old and with two young children age 6&9 at the time. 

February I started chemotherapy with continuing of hormonal chemotherapy in my leg for a further 12 rounds (still on going). I have just currently had my first operation left mastectomy.

Area 1: grade 1 invasive mucinous carcinoma ER8/8, PR5/8, HER-2 3+positive
Area 2: Grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma with mucinous features ER8/8, PR7/8, HER-2 positive 

Musgrove have been amazing in every way! They have given me a second chance at life and to carry on being a mum. 

I was lucky enough to use the cold cap which are not cheap (20k) and they are not government funded. I managed to keep my hair well enough that anyone who did not know me wouldn't know any different. 

I would like to give a little back... to say thank you, it will never be enough for what they have done for me. Ill aways be truly grateful from the bottom of mine and my families heart. 

I will be looking at many ways of raising as much as I can... As my energy and fitness returns it will become more physical. 

I have kept a journal on facebook because I want to make as much awareness as I possibly can, change stigma of cancer and people talking about mental health. "Living With Breast Cancer".
