Story
I set up The Fitness Support Network so that adult cancer patients have access to physical activity whilst going through active treatment for cancer. There are huge health benefits to exercising during treatment for cancer and afterwards and I believe it should be available to everyone going through this terrible disease. I set up the charity off of the back of my own diagnosis of incurable cancer in 2018.
On 9th July I am taking on an Ultra Challenge where I shall be doing a 100km continuous walk in the Peak District only stopping for refreshments and a break every 25km in the hopes of raising £600 for my charity.
£600 will get one, if not 2 people into their local gym or fitness centre whilst going through the hardest and most gruelling period of their life.
I understand that we are in a cost of living crisis at the moment and times are so tough for everyone so any donation is much appreciated and if you can’t donate it would be fantastic if you could please share my fundraiser.
