On Christmas Day 2020 my whole world was torn apart. My otherwise healthy handsome husband/best friend passed away suddenly at the age of 30.

Josh led a mostly healthy lifestyle, he worked hard, barely drank, never smoked/used drugs and he looked after himself physically. 

As his passing was so sudden we had to wait several weeks for tests to be carried out to try and determine the cause. My deepest fear was confirmed in late February when the results came back as SADS ( Sudden Adult Death/ Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome) which left me reeling as his heart just stopped for no obvious reason.

Every day without my soulmate is absolute torture, but I know that I wouldn't be the person that I am now without his love and patience. I am truly grateful and proud to call myself his wife and that I am blessed that he chose me. Josh will always hold a special place in my heart and I need to live life for the both of us.

In Memory of Josh and to raise awareness of SADS I will be taking part in several events to raise money for the charity that has now become part of my life.

My first event will be Total Warrior on 11th July. My second event will be Tough Mudder on September 4th and my third event will be a skydive ( also in September). Myself and Josh had planned to do a skydive together, so now I have to do it for him. I just want to make him proud and celebrate his life as much as I can.
