ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

Hello,

On May 2 im running the Edinburgh 10k. This is shocking news in itself, as I couldnt finish the bleep test at school!
As i have just found my running legs, I thought id try and raise some money at the same time. If you want to donate, id really appreciate it so please follow this page.
I am hoping to raise £200 for Childline, which is a much needed charity that is doing a great job. When I volunteered on their helpline there was always a queue of children and young people wanting to speak to someone. Childine needs more funding to expand its online and text services to offer wider support to more young people. Childline is close to my heart because of the time I spent there, the people I got to know and seeing how it helps children and young people with their problems, by giving them a space to talk.

If you want to donate, it would make my day!
