WAGS (Wiltshire, Avon, Gloucestershire, Somerset) Retired Police Dog Charity purpose is animal welfare. We want to ensure no retired police dog is ever euthanised due to lack of financial means by their new owners. WAGs was set up to help these beneficiaries (the handlers and members of the pubic who take on looking after the retired police dogs) with the cost of life saving veterinary treatment to ensure the retired police dogs can be given the veterinary treatment they require to allow them to lead a happy healthy retirement after they have served the public for years as police dogs. Your donations are extremely important to us and we are very grateful for your generosity.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

In May 2020 after having my second baby and with my 40th birthday looming I decided to do the couch to 5k and now some near 2 years later and at the ripe old age of 40 I've decided to take on the Brighton marathon 😱

As beautiful PD Karma was recently retired from work and our family, I would like to try and raise both money and awareness for WAGS, a great charity that supports retired police dogs!

Karma has been adopted by a great family and is living her best life but at some point she, along with many other retired police dogs will probably need some treatment from the vets and WAGS like to be able to help the wonderful people who've taken on these retired dogs to pay for this and I'd like to be able to help support them.
