I cannot begin to fully explain a 7 year journey of 3 of the most important people in my life in a couple of paragraphs, so I will give you a snapshot. 

In 2015 our family was thrown into unexpected turmoil when my sister collapsed in the gym and after numerous tests was diagnosed with a condition called ARVC (Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy).  As a result of the testing, my brother and Dad were also diagnosed with the same condition. 

This has resulted in many many scary moments, operations, mental health concerns and devices fitted. Basically my sister and brother are a part robot 😂😂 (Jokes). 

On a serious note, this he been literally life changing for them… From ending their career pathways to not being able to have/carry your own children.  You really don’t realise how this can impact so many parts of your life until you are living it! 

I am running the marathon to raise money for BHF to help fund more research into these complex and life changing conditions. 

The longest distance I have ever ran is 10k (6.2miles), the marathon is 26 miles… So I am having to find another 20miles in me somewhere which at the moment is PAINFUL to say the least! 

I would really appreciate if you can donate anything at all to help me feel like  all of this pain and suffering every week is worth it!
