Danielle Krohn, Hannah Hartley and Lushan Sun from LGIM Real Assets are taking part in pedElle 2022! Over three days in June, we will be riding 450km from Vienna to Budapest, including climbing over 4,000m along the way.

We will be fundraising for Club Peloton (clubpeloton.org), a charity and real estate cycling community transforming the lives of vulnerable young people. Since 2006, it has given £4.5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference. The funds raised through pedElle will support the vital work of Coram (www.coram.org.uk), Club Peloton’s main charity beneficiary, as well as Cyclists Fighting Cancer, MSA Trust and Tom's Trust. Coram champions the rights and welfare of children and believes every child should have the best chance of a fulfilling life. Coram helps hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children and young people every single year by developing skills, building emotional strength, upholding children's rights and finding adoptive parents for those in the greatest need.

We were all keen to take on the challenge for a great cause, Danielle is a keen cyclist, with this being her second pedElle and is passionate about Coram, especially since becoming a Mum last year. Hannah and Lushan both recently started properly cycling and this has been the push needed to take it more seriously, the last few months have been filled with gruelling training rides, learning to eat on the bike, learning to clip in (and out!) of cleats and getting back on the bike after many falls!
