A year and a half ago my dad was diagnosed with throat cancer and had to have his voice box removed.

He's struggled since then to adjust with no voice, last week he had a scan and there is some activity, which they are hoping is the radiotherapy and chemo still working at it.

He has an appointment in 3 months to check this again.

Given other circumstances they've said he may not make it to that appointment. 

On top of this i've had aunties, uncles and friends sadly suffer and/or pass with this terrible disease and raising as much as possible to researching it in hopes of one day finding a cure is an amazing reason to do this! I will give a 100% thankyou in advance for your generosity
