Story
When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, Little Princess Trust will be there with a real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. This is a completely free service but as this costs the charity approx £550 for each wig, the funding really helps them keep this service going.
They are short of hair donations that are 16inches or longer (which mine is) and having had long hair my whole adult life its time for a change.
So you can donate your hair or you can donate money to this page and help me raise the funds for them to turn my hair into a wig for a child who will be so grateful.
They rely solely on fundraisers to enable them to continue their work.
In addition to their free wig provision, they fund research into finding better treatments for childhood cancers. Since 2016, they have funded research projects into many types of cancer (including neuroblastoma, leukaemia, teenage and young adult brain tumours, Wilms' and rhabdomyosarcoma) and a variety of less toxic treatments (including Immunotherapy, Proton Beam Therapy and Drug Repurposing).
I will be having the chop on Tuesday 28th July at Robert Mitchell Hair salon in Whitstable, I will upload photo's/video to prove I really did it!
You can find out more about the process once hair is donated here https://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/donate-hair/
